Centenary Bank Uganda desired to launch a campaign targeting the youth where they wanted to popularize an exclusive account for the young ‘campuser’.

(You gotta love a detailed brief like that!) – No, but seriously the Brief was very detailed and had all the right industry speak therein contained- we just decided to make it a little easier to understand.
Over a period of 6 weeks we launched the ‘ Snap it, Share it to Win it’ Campaign, an amazing 6 week journey covering campus to campus where we would encourage those opening accounts to celebrate with us via SELFIE! For the most popular SELFIES by likes, shares and comments we rewarded the selfie taker 50,000 ugx to start their new cente-volution life! We rewarded over 120 students!
The campaign worked a charm with an amazing engagement of over 600,000 in the first 4 weeks alone. We were given a target of adding 1,000 new likes to the Centenary Facebook page organically with NO advertisements, we managed to add over 4,000 new likes to the Centenary Facebook page putting them over 70,000 followers on face book!
The campaign helped create such a buzz for the bank that in THREE weeks the bank had hit their account opening target- and this with absolutely NO TV, NO PRINT AND NO BILLBOARDS – chalk that one up for Digital!
